Centre for Nonlinear Analysis and its Applications (CNAA) CNAA is aimed to promote research in Nonlinear Analysis at the University of Craiova. The Staff consists of the following mathematicians from the University of Craiova: Constantin P. Niculescu, Sorin Daniel Micu, Vicenţiu Rădulescu, Andaluzia Matei, Mihai Mihăilescu, Maria Magdalena Boureanu, Dana Constantinescu, Ionel Rovenţa, Mihaela Sterpu, Octavian Genghiz Mustafa, Maria Mălin, Laurenţiu Temereancă, Vasile Uţă CNAA contains also several members from other prestigious universities: Xianhua Tang, Marius Tucsnak, Mircea Sofonea, Nicolae Cîndea CNAA is officially recognized as a Centre of excellence by the National University Research Council. A certification of this status was released on May 13, 2005. With this occasion, Constantin P. Niculescu was appointed as a Director. The other members of the Scientific Committee of CNAA are Sorin Daniel Micu and Vicenţiu Rădulescu.
